Good Day Aquaculturists,

In our last article on Liqwid’s launch timeline we reviewed key development milestones on the path to external security audit and following this, mainnet launch. In this article we would like to update the community on our progress for key development milestones and share the roadmap for Liqwid v1 and beyond.

Smart contract simulation and testing on the private testnet instance continues with our developers gaining momentum towards a deployment on the public testnet. Prioritizing on-chain feature completeness (with on-chain proof) was the goal for September. Liqwid core devs worked to finalize the liquidation system, governance contracts and the DAO Treasury. To dive deeper please check out our weekly technical development updates.

In addition to on-chain feature completion the team will focus on validator tests providing strong certainty around all features, internal audit success, SDK refactor, and off-chain services for the month of October. The upcoming wallet backend release by IOG will boost our development pace towards completion of the custom PAB build and each of the workstreams mentioned above.

The Liqwid Roadmap

We fully recognize the original launch schedule timing was a bit optimistic; variables within our control (validator testing, feature completion) and variables out of our team’s control (wallet backend, PAB) have resulted in extended timelines. To better manage expectations moving forward we will release roadmaps covering major developments over the span of each quarter. We look forward to sharing more details with the community as we continue the journey on the path to mainnet.

Stay tuned with the latest Liqwid updates by following us on Twitter and joining our Discord!
